About the event

In case you’ve never heard of Soul Food, it’s traditional southern African-American food...and it’s DELICIOUS! Bring your little chef to this class to learn how to make three Soul Food favorites: collard greens, cornbread, and no fry fried chicken. Join Chefs Candice and Emerson to walk your little chef through tips and tricks--then enjoy their creations at the end of class!

What to Expect in this class:

Classes are 1 to 1.5 hours.

Hands-on classes are limited to 12 students.

You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class, with time to consume your masterpieces afterward.

Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

Parents must assist children with the class.


Please arrive at least 10 minutes earlier to be checked-in.

We are located in the community kitchen area of Whole Foods Market, located on the 2nd floor towards the back of the store.

Please purchase Class Pass in our online store prior to registering for a class under the pre-paid option.

Class tickets costs $15. Registrations close 24 hours prior to class.
